I've noticed that on some motors of my H the propellers, once installed and locked, moves a little. Others are totally blocked.
What's the cause? Propellers are worn? Or is it the locking system that's worn? Or both?
I don't see visually any sign of wearing.

Is the prop mount itself tight to the top of the motor?
The mount and it's two mount screws can be rotated 90 degrees to use the spare threaded holes in the motor top if needed.

There is also a history of the locking mechanism wearing faster on either A or B motors, and I don’t remember which it is.

As @WTFDproject said, check the tightness of the locking mechanism to the motor. I’ve taken mine apart, cleaned them, lubricated with a light film of Teflon grease, and remounted them. The props go on easily and lock tightly. A very tiny amount of removable thread lock will help prevent vibration loosening the mounting screws. I used the blue Locktite thread lock.

Thanks guys for your answer.
Yes, the screws of the mount was my first concerning but them were found tighten.
Are the same motor positions loose when mounting a prop that is firm on other motor positions?
The sellers seem to vary a little bit on what they call the parts. Search for things like "Yuneec Typhoon H Propeller (Quick Disconnect) (Mount) (Adapter)(Mounting Plate) (etc.)"
YUNTYH126ASVC
YUNTYH126BSVC
Both Forum Sponsors carry these parts, but shipping cost and time would have to be considered.

No. If a prop is firm, it's firm on all motors, and if it's loose, it's so on all motors, A or B doesn't matter.
The strange is that visually there aren't signs of wearing on the propellers and nor on the mounts.
I tested all the 10 propellers I've, of 5 blacks, 2 moves once locked.
The 5 white ones moves all.
Can somebody check on his bird if the propellers are all firm or if what I've found is a normal situation?
To be honest I never noticed if that small movement had always been present.

Pier,

I just checked the aircraft with me in Florida and the props I have been using for a few years. There are also 4 props 2 A (black) and 2 B (white) that have not been used. All motors and prop mounts are original to the aircraft and have only been cleaned and lubed with Teflon impregnated grease.

The 3 A props that have been used for a few years have a minuscule amount of play on all three A motors. The 2 unused A props have zero play.

The 3 B props that have been used for a few years have even less play than the what the A props do. The 2 unused B props have zero play.

Thanks Doom...so the problem are the props and not the mount, good to know!
I thinks that the small play is not so dangerous for flying and is due to normal wearing, but in any case I will look for a new set of props.
Thank you again.
