I haven't been able to find much info on the IPS.
Can it accurately measure all the way up to 400'?
Does it trigger the landing gear to retract upon RTH?

My typhoon holds altitude and position very well during flight, so I mostly want the IPS to help with correcting the ALT readings for CCC and RTH.

Only based on my observations flying my RealSense H, the IPS seems to only sense ground below some 15 to 20'. A red semi-circular temporary readout appears on the ST-16 screen. No connection to height read-out. Yuneec says it will help stabilize the H indoors with no GPS. With landing gear up, my H will not go lower than 5 or 6'.

Ouch, so you can't get any lower than 5-6' with the IPS installed?
I like to shoot low video. Can the IPS be turned off with the obstacle avoidance switch?

well you would think so as the obs switch is a three position ud expect up for off middle for ips on and lower for both ips and realsense on ... well that would be if i had any say in it
