When WiFi connection is lost the Breeze will hover in place for about 30 seconds. If connection is not regained it will then perform an RTH (return to home). Depending on your Drone Settings your Breeze most likely started ascending at this point. It would have rose to the RTH height setting, then flew back to your takeoff point in a straight line, then hovered in place for another 30 seconds trying to regain connectivity before landing.
The exception to this is if you are flying with GPS turned off. With GPS disabled the Breeze has no way to know its position and cannot perform an RTH. If connection is lost, it will drift with the wind.
If you are within the warranty period contact Yuneec to open a warranty claim.
