Is it necessary to use this when installing the props, as I watched a video (the one with the 10,000 battery) an he just put them on just using his hand only ? Somewhere its stated to use the motor holder to go on full turn after spinning them on after a stop ?

I believe that holder is for the Q500 and not the typhoon H

What one you have?

RE: Q500, I install props seldom as I use the big husky tool box. Ijust got the drones ready to fly, installed props on q500 using fingers to hold motor [ is just faster] and snug them and go 1/2 turn, not super tight,as I have heard of screwed up threaded motor posts. I definitely don't need that. Careful when starting threads, usually they get screwed up cus the wrong prop was attempted. I have not had one fly off. Keith

I go about one full turn past spinning them on, but then again, I am still using my original Q-500 props and I bought it in 2013.
