I've read several post about this issue but they were all older post from 2020-2024 but haven't seen anything as of recent. Any help would be appreciated

This was my response to a DM about the same problem:
The Yuneec Pilot app was designed for Android v5 and has had the lack of video display issue since Android v8.
Part of the issue is that newer versions of Android tend to sense the controller as a charging source. You may be able to change Android settings to have the port only transmit/receive data when Yuneec Pilot app is running. Another alternative is to use a data only cable that does not connect to the + voltage pin in the USB A connector on the controller (the USB C port on the controller is for charging only).
Another alternative is to get an older iPhone running iOS 9 or greater. The iOS version of Yuneec Pilot does not have this issue. A SIM is not needed to fly. That is what I use.
