You are very welcome Andreas! I think being in Europe you may be better off than if in the USA. From reading on the forum it seems to me you have better warranty laws. I sure hope so.

Do you have any details as to how far out over the water it went down? It may be recoverable, even if it washed ashore further downstream. I doubt it sank to the bottom like a ship, so it's definitely moved with the tides. I also doubt it's floating on the surface. Given the tides at the time, it may or may not have washed ashore, or was swept into a small inlet and is bobbing around.
