Finding batteries here in the UK had proved a bit more of a hassle than expected . The consensus was to buy gen ace but these are not available here . The best I could do has been overlander 5000maH 35C SUPERSPORT. So I bit the bullet and 4 arrived the other day at a cost of £400. However putting 2 into the battery compartment is a bit of a tight fit and 1 gets pushed in further than the other .and its not easy to wriggle back out. Is there a fix ie remove the side walls of the battery compartment to give a bit more space. Knowing there's wiring on ether side protected by the thin side walls Any help appreciated.
I'm also thinking i may try using 1 of the new batteries along with 1 of the lesser 4000maH 8c standard lipos. My thinking is that the new 5000maH 35C will be the leading battery and the lesser battery will make the second connection and act as a backup/reserve .
I would think flight time would be reduced by a few minutes but the extra wattage would eliminate the low battery warnings common with using only 3 standard 4500mAH 8c batteries that we are plagued with .
Thoughts ?

Not sure if these dimensions are correct:
Overlander Super sport 5000mAh 6s 22.2v 35C LiPo Battery - EC5
134x42x55mm

If they are, I presume the 55mm is where you have the tight fit.
I do see Amazon UK has the Gen aces listed:

Also the SLS Lipo Akku Xtron 5000mAh 6S1P 22,2V 20C/40C/SLSXT50006120 appears to fit but out of stock on eBay UK
slsxt50006120
160x45x43mm

Yes you sizing is correct and the 55mm is the issue whereas the gens ace are smaller and would fit fine. Unfortunately I couldn't find the gens ace even on amazon so went with the outlander, kinda stuffed myself I think and £400 down the river if I cant convince the seller to return them

Ouch. I have no clue if you can trim the battery compartment. My 920 is at the bottom of the pile right now. If no one else answers here, I can work at getting it pulled out.

Uk ebay, but optipower no idea how good they are... or bad....

Its fine ive spoken to overlander and there OK with me returning these. They don't have a smaller size battery unless I went down to 3700maH which isn't a consideration.
Looking like its going to be gens ace 5000maH
