I have a E90 camera with defect yaw encoder cable. Trying to repair it but forgot how this black plastic part between the slip ring and the yaw encoder board was located. Also I have two different yaw encoder boards. I think I will use the larger (which was in before).

The question is if the flat part of the black thing is located at the slip ring

or otherwise at the yaw encoder board?

If I use the smaller yaw encoder board is the black plastic part needed or not?

The flat part goes as is shown in the third picture. It can be a real challenge to get all the wires in place. I lay the wires into the black thing first, then slide the black thing down the wires and into the board,
I can't say for sure the other board will or will not work.

Done! All runs smooth, gimbal could be calibrated now. The only remaining problem is that Machine test reports "Shaking". But this is as expected because I have no proper damper mounted. No problem so far, the E90 is only for test, not for flight.

Thank you again for the support.
