I have a H520 with a PLUS controller. When I get 2,500 feet away the video is horrible and scrambled screen? Is there a more powerful TX/RX install to fix the horrible video and 5/2.5 transmission problems.?

The video signal is sent from the camera antenna to the center antenna on the ST16 using 5.8MHz frequency.
The range varies depending on a number of variables: terrain; obstacles between the ST16 and the H520; the height of the 520 above the ground; the type of antenna used on the ST16; the direction the antenna is pointed and the location either rural or urban.
You should be using the square flat panel antenna on the ST16 center coax post and it should be pointed directly at the aircraft.
