Q500 4K came with ST12 controller

If you are referring to the red button you have circled it is the motor arm/disarm switch.

Nope. But I figured it out. It's the landing gear up/down toggle which does not apply to my Q500 4K anyway. But that would be cool if it did.

I just reread your post and I think you are referencing the dial on the right side. That would be the camera pan knob when this is used in team mode with the H920 (and possibly the H920+ or H480).

No. It was the toggle switch that I have in a yellow box on the left side. It is not on my ST 10 which I have from a previous Q500, but it is on ST 12. Again. I figured that out. Thanks for the help and replies.
