Can anyone tell me about the antennas in the above thread. They came as part of a package deal off amazon however I noticed they are not Yuneec Branded. Can anyone tell me if they are worth trying or should I stay away from using them. I live in an area where I can fly very far out and my video is inconsistent over 1000ft (cuts in and out).
I was told the incorrect antenna can damage my equipment.
Any thoughts

I would recommend caution since without any specs these appear to be two identical antennas. Not good because the ST16 uses 2.4GHz for control/telemetry (the rubber dickey dipole) and 5.8GHz for the camera (the clover leaf antenna). Some people have had good luck with the DBS patch antennas or the FPVLR hex antennas.I do not want to restart that debate.
If you just want increased camera range you might try a mini patch like this:
ImmersionRC SpiroNet LHCP Mini Patch 8dBi
Available on Amazon. It appears similar to the patch antenna on the ST16 with Real Sense package. You will probably need a SMA adapter with the SpiroNet antenna since both the ST16 and the antenna have "pins".
Just remember that any passive antenna achieves gain by restricting beam width. You have to aim more precisely. Good luck.
