Scale bar interface for ST16?

Hi all,

I use my H250 for scientific research and just started flying it about a month and a half ago. Does the ST16 RC have any sort of dynamic scale bar functionality I could use to easily interpret the size of an object in my field of view? Surely I cannot be the only one who would find something like that useful. Is there any third-party software that could potentially provide a scale bar overlay for the DataPilot interface? A lot of my research involves flying close to that 400ft limit and it would be great to have a way to instantaneously interpret object size and distance between objects on the ground in real time.

Let me know if anyone has any solutions or if the ST16 does have this functionality and I've just managed to completely miss it.

I'm unaware of any scare bar for this purpose. Have you turned on the screen grid? That may help. You could get a rough estimate of size by placing 2 or 4 targets of the ground 100' apart and then see how they relate to the screen grid.
