SD Card Formatting

Does a new Sandisk Extreme Pro card need to be formatted before use in the C23 camera? If so is exFat the correct format if Fat32 is not an option?
Is the another card that is recommended as better?

That card has been reported as being compatible with the C23 and is fast enough in the majority of cases... and yes exFat is the correct formatting option.

Thanks. Got it formatted using laptop (didn’t work using controller since camera didn’t recognize a new unformatted card) then reformatted it using the controller to be sure formatted correctly. Appears to work fine now.

That card has been reported as being compatible with the C23 and is fast enough in the majority of cases... and yes exFat is the correct formatting option.

Be aware that exFat will not show the correct time and date. That has been my experience.
