Slow descent and trouble getting the H to land and idle, I performed calibration in secret screen- results posted. In vid you can see "J1" not going all the way to zero and slow response

You should not have performed the calibration when a stick isn't responding correctly. That will only make things worse.
You should check the stick in Hardware Monitor. If it is sluggish, jumpy or not returning to zero at center stick, then it needs cleaned.
After it's cleaned and rechecked in Hardware Monitor then you will have to re-calibrate.

Yup. Don't use the secret menu.

Use the standard Hardware Monitor screen to check sticks. If you don't get full (+/-100%) motion from the sticks, or they don't return to 0 then the stick is faulty or needs cleaning.

Do not attempt to 'calibrate' a broken or dirty stick to fix the problem. This can lead to serious problems later on.

and how do you clean your stick ?
Get a spray can of electrical contact cleaner that is labeled safe for plastic. Spray at the base of the stick while moving the stick in all directions. Let it dry and then power up the ST16 and check it again in Hardware Monitor.

What can you do if you have mistakenly calibrated a faulty stick using the 'secret menu'?

Did you check the stick in Hardware Monitor? It's best to clean it as described above and then redo the calibration. That should fix it.
