Please share solutions for the ST16 upper cover of the case bolt holes rework. The intention of the manufacturer is to never open the case and the lifetime of the controller is a year or less. Due to the different thermal shrinking of the holes and bolts, they get some cracks.

I have 3 ST16 controllers as old as 3.5 years, and have never seen any cracks near the bolt holes or anywhere else. Can you show a photo of your problem?

Open it and you'll see. The problem is inside and is populated to every controller. I'll upload some pictures later.

Um No... I have had 2 of my 3 ST16s opened up and inspected the screw bosses and wells on both halves and there is no craacking shown. You may have had one that was dropped or damaged by some kind of impact.

I have a few, all have cracks. No one of them is dropped or bended.

Soon I'll upload pictures where the problem is visible.

The pictures. Never the bolts are overtightened.

The focus would be nice but will be the next time. The bolts are original ones. Doesn't matter, I asked if someone did something in a situation like this one, not from where the situation comes.

I'll print some heads to replace the cracked part of the pins. BTW I noticed, there are ST16 moulded from a better plastic. I have one, which looks different, feel when touch it is different and so on. Still never opened, because I'm working on one prototype for now.

Regards!
