Good question. I just checked my files and the version I down loaded back in July of 2016 lists as 1.1.8...

Graphic User Interface. It is software and you have it on your computer. You use it for diagnostics and such like of the aircraft when it is attached to the computer.
How many of youse guys are actually USING 1.1.8?

I use it whenever I feel a need to check motors and system hardware performance, for making changes to the geo fence, or when installing waiver firmware after a general firmware upgrade. The GUI will not change the way your H performs unless you input a change in the GUI to send to the H. It's a tool provided to help you.
