I was watching a TV prog the other week called Ancient Aliens where they were going on about how people kept building things that mirrored star patterns and they featured Thornborough Henges. I didn't even know it existed until I saw that program and it's only about 50 miles away from my home. I liked the look of it so I planned a flight using Google Earth and checked airspace restrictions and did it yesterday.

A strong wind was blowing broken clouds over the site so it was difficult to get the exposure/lighting right...I could have done better if the conditions had been favorable but I had to go with what I had since a return to the site isn't just a trip 'round the corner...so to speak.
