Typhoon G....slow

I just flew my Typhoon G with a buddy who was flying a Phantom 3. That thing flew circles around me! it was embarrassing! Yes I had the speed/sensitivity in full rabbit mode. Basically I'm just curious if anyone has heard of any upgrades or options coming from Yuneec for increasing the speed on the Typhoons.

HI, I have both the Q-500 and Phantom 3 professional. The phantom 3 is faster, under a post on the forum for "Q-500" speed it says to shut off GPS and it was a lot faster... Be careful and do some testing before you push it too far. I have run the G for a year and never broke a blade or a crash, GREAT machine...

Have you updated to the latest firmware? Awhile back Yuneec increased the speed in the firmware.
