Just noticed that my CG03+ gimbal has only two pins with c-clips in opposing corners out of the four corners. All have the rubber barrel bushings. Is this how it is supposed to be, or am I missing two pins and clips? Have flown one time with zero issues, so I don't see how they could be missing.

Anyone?

Thanks.

That's the way they come from the factory. The dampers work well but the pins with the clip are only OK if there are never any issues with a hard landing or hitting anything. I got tired of putting the dampers back in so I, like many other pilots, replaced the pins with nylon cable ties at all 4 corners appropriately tightened but NOT deforming the dampers. No issues since that change. I also got rid of the top "protective" cover. Never did understand what it was protecting other than maybe the tops of the pins.

Ok, thanks guys. That's what I figured.

rdonson, Yes, the nylon cable trick is what I've done with previous drones. Better safe than sorry. Thanks!
