Yea another 50 ft and he wouldn't have heard you until you were passed. We are still required to stay 500ft from animals and people. Did he throw a golf ball at you?

It's 50 meters in the U.K. where he was flying so was breaking the law. The golfer probably felt justified in throwing a ball at it. I notice the vid has been withdrawn now.

FV this is the kind of stuff that is making it hard on us here in the US.. Those golfers have political ties and they talk and complain. Good luck.

Indeed.
I'm not saying that the golfer was right to throw a ball at it, but flying a drone overhead (illegaly) was just asking for it IMHO

We can fly at 50m or greater over people though as long as it is not a large gathering, but he was clearly lower
