Typhoon H Mini USB ports

Guys,

Typhoon has 2 X mini USB ports, one downward facing for connecting GUI, the other under a small rubber flap close to the first.
Does anyone know the purpose of the second covered port?

I think one of them are for connecting to the H and using Windows GUI and talking to the H and getting info. I thought I seen a video on it on YT
