Upon startup, the LED on my Typhoon H will indicate solid GREEN, and will not respond to the power button. It is not bound to the ST16 controller, and the controller can not detect the aircraft. The only way to turn it off is to remove the battery. I have tried the 1.28 firmware fix via the GUI. It gives me a success message and upon starting, the problem persists. The ST16 is running the latest (03.01.b30) firmware.

Step 1, read the manual.
Step 2, You must bind the aircraft to the ST-16 controller.
To bind, turn the aircraft ON, tilt forward about 45 degrees 3 times.
The green light should change to an Orange/yellow light.

This video will show you how to do firmware updates, and HOW to BIND the ST-16 to the aircraft.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR FIRST FLIGHT IS AT A LARGE FIELD, AND DO NOT USE SMART MODE.

the green light freezes the aircraft and will not allow it to reach the binding mode

One more time for those that have forgotten, putting the ST-16 in Team mode to perform updates and binding eliminates the requirement for tilting and obtaining an Orange flashing light.

A solid green light usually indicates the system is in Smart mode with less than 10 satellites. IRRC, the system must be in Angle mode to do the tilt thingie. Flip the switch and see what happens.
