Typhoon H won't lift off - so far not impressed with Yuneec

So far not impressed with this drone. On my 3rd flight, I finally went to a large open area on the beach. Previous flights were small and in back yard. On this 3rd flight, I got everything setup, powered on, GPS acquired 17 sats, not in RTH mode, hit the right stick up, nothing... Props stayed at power on speed. Restarted everything, ST16 on first, off last of course. Still nothing. Rebound, nothing.

When I got home I made sure the stick was working in the control screen. It's registering stick movement.

Anything else to check? All my friends said go DJI, beginning to think I made a $1400 mistake.

Right stick or left? Did it just beep when you pushed up?

Verify the mode your st16 is set up for

If your ST16 is in the normal mode as found straight out of the box, then pushing on the right stick ain't gonna make the aircraft take off...ever.

@guant1969 - sorry wrote right meant left. I found another post that said reload the firmware which I did and it seems to work ok now.

Trying not to give up yet on Yuneec
