typhoon q500 bent strut

I have a q500 that I just picked up.... it works fine just has a little kink in one of the struts. Can this be heat and straightened or do I have to buy a whole new air frame.

i am calling the part that holds the engines a strut. Do not know the proper name it.

What you are talking about is the actual Quad Mainframe, it's serviced in 2 pieces, an Upper and a Lower. Some call what you're describing a "Motor Boom". Major job to replace. I dont think you can repair it with heat but if it flies well, then dont mess with it. JMO. Good Luck and Welcome to the Forum!
