Don't misunderstand me.
I am a committed Yuneec user, not in the mental aberration 'committed' sense of the word.
Their customer service, as well as the quality of the products, locked me in to them a long time ago.
I'm in their corner for sure.
However,if I'd had the patience I would have been a doctor. (patients? No?)
Oh well, just my odd sense of humor.
What compounded (okay okay! aggravated) my impatience was noting that CarolinaDronz had taken it down from their site.

How's this for a release. I was waiting on a flight controller said will release early 2014 guess when It released? Early 2014, no
Mid 2014, no , late 2014 no guess again how about early 2016 yeah 2 years later . So 8 days doesn't seem to bad.
Also they said 2nd quarter that could be the last day of the quarter but we always expect it to be the first.

Besides, isn't it just a larger 480 with more commercially durable parts?

It's not released anywhere yet. There are a handful of development machines in various locations, but they're not ready for sale right now.

It's a completely different machine from the 480. Completely different hardware (motors, batteries, electronics), and completely different software. Yuneec have learned a lot from having the 480 in production, and it's all going into the new model.

Hey chaps. You regulars know that Yuneec time is usually at least 6 months after any anticipated date is published. I have plans for a new camera ..... sometime.
I have just done 45 flights and captured lovely footage for a Web based project with my H.
