I did a flight yesterday at a friends house who lives on a beautiful golf course. I shot what appeared on the ST16 as some beautiful video for the entire 15 minute flight. When downloading the video to my PC, the SD card showed 2 MP4 files, 1 at 1.75 GB and the other at 1.4 GB which I've found to be typical for shooting at the highest resolution for a flight of 15 minutes. I understand that the clips are limited to 1.75 GB each.
When on the SD card, the clips showed up with the standard MP4 video icon. I then moved both files to my PC as I always do and now the second file is shown to be compressed differently and can't be opened. I now realize that this happens routinely where that last file on the list gets changed somehow and can't be opened. I never picked on this until now because I generally load up the SD card before transferring, plus I'm a beginner and practicing. However, in this case I really want to share the clip of the entire flight with my friend and can't.
Does anyone have any insight as to what might be happening?
Thanks
