Don't know if this will help anyone. I've just got a Mantis Q and was able to download the android app from yuneec.com, but was getting the black screen. I've seen the posts about the included usb c lead not being a data cable, however I tested it with my phone (Samsung A70) in a PC and it was data compliant. I connected the controller to my iPad to compare, which worked 100%, but noted the software version was 2.04. The yuneec.com android download was 2.02. I uninstalled the app and went to apkpure and was able to download android app version 2.04. Once opened video worked straight away, using the supplied usb c cable. Seems yuneec are not giving the latest app version on their website!!

I was just waiting on the mantis q drone firmware update. It's all good now there services are back and running .

You have to put your phone in developer mode and select options to allow non PlayStore apps to load. Google for directions to place your phone in developer mode.
