Yuneec Tornado H920 or not ?

Hi i can buy a second hand Tornado 920H with 6 batteries and the V18 camera for 1800USD.
I already own a Typhoon H where i replaced the lens with a pixAero lens. but i'm looking for a stable platform and i need a zoom camera.
Is this a good offer or do i wait for a zoomcamera for the Typhoon H.
I heard rumours about a new camera in 2017.

Hi Marnix.

The price sounds pretty good assuming the equipment and batteries are in decent working order and the V18 would suit your needs. (6 batteries would cost about $800 US to replace, so a good idea to check those out pre-purchase.)

Compared to the Typhoon, the Tornado is a bit larger and more capable system (in terms of being able to carry additional, higher quality cameras), but also less 'user friendly' than the more consumer oriented products. I use the CGO4 so I can't offer any experience on the V18.

You mention that the zoom and stability are important - how are you planning to use the system?
