I had a red tailed hawk as a pet before, he would dive bomb anything from above if it looks appetizing lol. Now I have a cockatoo who would scream bloody murder when his nails are trimmed. They do bleed when done incorrectly and with birds, blood loss is a major thing because of their size.

I could see these trained raptors get "retired" soon after one encounter with a drone. The spinning props can obliterate their legs. I was watching the news where raptors are trained to intercept drones. I thought to myself, it is so inhumane.

It would be great to generate a list of legitimate fly areas where we can grow the hobby and have UAV pilots be welcomed. Many areas are listed as UAV friendly but staff have the area unfriendly due to biases.

I got a 2nd ST16 to run Team Mode. The 2nd controller flies the drone while the primary st16 controls the camera. I thought about 2 THs but I opted for a Mavic Air and the Pro to switch them around.

Wouldn't removing the camera everytime you fly the drone be stressful to the connections/mount? I calibrate before I fly since I usually fly over new areas in excess of 50+ away from main base (home).

I bought the Yuneeq brand lanyard for my two ST16s. It's very convenient when you have to do something with your hands than hold on to the massive controller (like to direct people or hand catch your Typhoon). I would go for the Copperdawg (I love carbon fiber!) but the price to outfit 2 ST16...

Sorry to hear about the loss of your drone. Keep us posted on the root cause, we would like to know what the reason was for the crash. If you were not that far, I would offer to buy the props and controller battery.

No. If you don’t have a memory card on the ST16, you will need to turn on your Typhoon H to playback your recorded pics and videos.
