2.4Ghz or 5.8Ghz

I just got a Yuneec Typhoon H600. In the settings of the T1-one I want to set the auto switch mode to 2.4Gz to 5.8Ghz and vice versa. However the user is only allowed to choose 2.4Ghz or 5.8 Ghz.
Is it safe to switch between the 2 frequencies manually. Please advise

Interesting... the H600 hasn't even been introduced by Yuneec yet and you've already bought one?

The H850 has the same remote control... I can't say whether the manual switching of the frequency during flight is safe... I have not tried it.
