6000 mAh battery and prop guards

My flight time is short because of cold weather right now and thin air where I live. I haven't been flying for all that long so I'm a newbie. I would venture to guess at sea level a 5400mAh would give you 30 min so maybe a 6300mAh might extend to 40min. Anyone out there experiment with actual times?

been using LiPos for YEARS. I dont see the Q getting a 30 minute flight with a gimbal attached.

How much more flight time?

Nothing more. Read the product discription

NOTICE: It has come to our attention that during manufacturing we mislabeled the flight battery (YUNQ500105) for the Yuneec Q500. All first-run batteries have a label that states 5400 mAh when the battery is actually a 6300 mAh capacity pack. There is no need to worry as there have been no changes made to the Q500 battery and it has always been 6300mAh.

Is YUNEEC ever going to change the labeling on the batteries to reflect the 6300 mAh rating?

The batteries included with the 4K that I just purchased are still labeled 5400 mAh.

This video is worth watching regarding the most popular batteries for the YUNEEC. A comparison by Carolina Dronz.

Nice test ... but I don't believe this guy's test.
It would be easier to test the batteries by using a simple 12V 50W Halogen-Lamp.
Measuring the voltage during discharge, so there are no other influences like wind,
time diffents or hardware differences by the drones.

yuneec:
10,8V 14:46
10,2V 18:15 +0:25
GIFI:
10,8V 15:46 +1:00
10,2V 17:50
Venom:
10,8V 17:02 +2:16
10,2V 19:40 +1:50

Test 2

10,6V yuneec: 15:06
10,6V venom: 15:46

My little idea

Venom:
Product Dimensions: 17.8 x 5.1 x 3.3 cm
Item Weight: 431 g

Yuneec:
Item Weight: 440 g

Ultra Fire
18650
6800mAh
3,7V
Li-Ion
6.5*1.8*1.8 cm
Item Weight: 37g

Using 9 pices of the batteries (333g) 3x3 (in row) we have 11,1V by using 20,400mAh ... theoretically.

--[3,7V]-[3,7V]-[3,7V]--
--[3,7V]-[3,7V]-[3,7V]-----11,1V/20400mAh
--[3,7V]-[3,7V]-[3,7V]--

Normal values for these types of batteries are 2000mAh ... 3000mAh ... 4000mAh, so
I do not know, how real the value of 6800mAh is. But this could be the way to fly
longer :)
