It finally happened, my H did the 9.8 m/s2 into the ground.
It was pilot error, as I was filming the fresh snowfall on a large Douglas Fir tree, the prop wash pushed the snow off of the heavy snow laden branch and as the snow fell off the branch, the branch rebounded way up and the props sucked into the branch and down she went from about 30 feet. It happened too fast for me too react. Many lessons have been learned from this ordeal.
Total of 2 arms totaled, the arm clips, 4 of those, the entire camera attachment assembly, outer shell...top and bottom replacement needed, and a motor on the landing gear.
So far it's looking about $200 from my research.
Anyone find anyone else besides Vertigo and Carolina?
I'm mostly interested in the arm plastic/carbon assembly but man those are expensive at $49.00 each. Seems like the better deal is to get wire/motor/light/cables and arm clips along with the arm for $69.00
Is there any overseas (China) Clone Parts anyone know of?
