Cannot update firmware - newly purchased drone

Hello,

Please follow these steps to manually update your Breeze:
  1. Download and save this file to your desktop.
  2. Power on your Breeze and connect it to your Windows PC via a micro USB to standard USB cable.
  3. Open up File Explorer and navigate to "This PC." You will see a new drive. Double click this drive to open it
  4. Copy the .bin file you downloaded from Step 1 to the root of the drive (open area, not in a folder).
  5. Disconnect the Breeze from your computer and, with it still powered on, reconnect to it via WiFi on your smart device.
  6. Open the BreezeCam application, go to About, and click the Firmware Upgrade button.

Please let us know if this resolved your issue.

yeah I had the same issue as I am running client version: 1.0.6.19 and when I check to see if there's any updates it will tell me the same exact thing, check network connection. BUT...since I bought mine from Costco..I can return mine if I'm having issues.

This worked out great. I updated the firmware and now I can fly up to 100m as advertised. Thank you.

Unfortunately I still do not like the drone as the range is limited to 100m and it is very slow. All as advertised. The size and the box are nice though.

Which firmware have you got? Is is another link than in my post before... With "my" link above I got 2.0.4 (which also works great) - what did you get?

Well, it's not really a drone but a selfie camera that flys. That's how it's marketed. It improves with the controller and becomes more of a traditional drone with stick control and improves the user experience but still has its geo fence for safety. It's basically a very quick to launch simple camera platform for close documenting of what you are doing. It's great for vacation shots as no one cares when you pop it up because it's so cute and basic. On my trip to San Fran I was able to capture, edit, and post little vids of some great views that were just fine for friends and family to view. Its never going to be a robust professional video or camera drone nor is it a Mavic competitor as they are not even apples and kumquat in comparison.

EXACTLY, it's inexpensive and Does what I want, it's just that i THOUGHT it came with an Audio Selection to hear sound. Shame too, BUT...it's not like I can't Add Audio to it, but I'd prefer to have Had the option.

Hi,
i have same problem - Flying Control 1.1.2, ESC 1.0.3, Camera 1.0.2 (F) - Breeze is from EU distribution (Czech distributor)
When i tried update described above it update system, but after update i lost connection to Breeze - green blinking, but i can not see wifi on any of my device (Galaxy S5, Galaxy Tab S, also disappear from networks visible on laptop and PC).

I can fly with current firmware, but i am not able change camera setting during flight or before take off (especially EV and white ballance is important for me). So it can be fine to have new firmware, especially for camera.

Today i tried discover communication between android app and yuneec servers and it looks like yuneec have some mess on their servers...
Initial connection is to www.yuneec.com/breezeota, then it is followed by few redirections and result is 404 Not Found, so it looks like no firmware until they fix it...

It looks like somebody from Yuneec read this forum, because in short time after post about bad redirection is link fixed. Good for us. Thanks Yuneec.

It is also nice to know, that current firmware is accesible and downloadable via http://www.yuneec.com/breezeota so we can made backups of .bin files in case something wrong happen.
Hope that downgrade will be possible in this case..
