Climb and descend from 400ft / 122m

Just wondering about the 400 ft discussion, if you were to descend using the RTH, how quickly would it get back to say 10ft (realizing at that point it starts its final touchdown and slows the whole process)?

Throttle down, then spiral in circles to descend. It takes practice, but is the method I use unless too lazy. That's the fastest way to descend without going into VRS and will use less battery. Then when approaching tree level (assuming there are obstacles), level out and auto land if desired.
