I posted about a month ago about putting my H back into service after being parked for a couple of years.
After a lengthy process of updates, it has performed well. I am using a DY3 charger and voltage of cells in my 3 batteries are uniform.
However, as I reported in the other thread, the batteries have felt tight going in and coming out, particularly one of them. Contrary to a comment by another member in the other thread, my batteries have not been beat up. They have been handled carefully. The tightest one is a bit swollen, but not too bad according to comments from others. However, when removing a battery with difficulty yesterday I looked inside and saw that a white wire was damaged, presumably because it was being caught between the chassis and the battery when it was being put in and taken out. Sorry for the poor focusing, but the wire is not broken, the insulation is torn and the wires bent.
There seems to be nothing to hold these wires from hanging down. Is this something I should be able to fix myself? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
