Connect to the GUI your should have downloaded from Yuneec site, connect H to PC and you can adjust settings in the GUI

Is that based on real world data? What kind of area. Low or high structural density? 1000 feet is generally inadequate for my kind of video taking. I often cross rivers up to 3/4 mile across to get a shot.

I would recommend a different bird. If range is what you require why would you chose the H? In this category of consumer copters the H is squarely the worst. There are things the H does well being a range demon nope!

It's plainly described as a line of sight aircraft in the documentation and uses WiFi. WiFi alone should be enough to tell people it's not a long range aircraft. Use one as such and whatever happens is on them.
