Firmware update!!

put the card in the CAM to upgrade the Typhoon H with the:
Typhoon H_Ver2.15_a.bin ! don't unpack the file !

put the card in ST16 to upgrade the ST16 with the:
ST16_V3.1.22.yunnec

better start with typhoon H to update, because you have a connection...
after you update the ST16, the connection is gone and you have to put the H in Bind Mode (lift it 2x 45degree) orange blinking
then ST16 refresh, bind Copter and CAM... and i have calibrate all again

My H is now bricked.
The camera will connect, I get video, just not control of the H.
I have to remove the battery to power it down.
Of course it has to be the weekend, No Flying, and no Yuneec support.

I tried that too.
It acts like it updated ok, but it never really does.
Will just have to wait and give em a call on Monday. I am sure I won't be the only one.

That really sucks. At first my st wouldn't see the files but I finally got it to take.

hello bob,

if i understand you correct the ST16 is updated but the H doesn't...
maybe you try again (i hope you haven't unpack the File for the H)

with the PC-GUI for the H you can update it too (says the GUI) ...maybe that works

Eric,
The H will not even power up now.
So I can not hook it to the GUI.
I tried all the tricks I can think of.
I hope it has some back door method of getting to the boot loader.
Funny the camera powers up but not the H.

Yes, it stops ads and a lot more............... lots of hijackers and malware run from scripts on your local browser. I like layered protection, so use those 2.

If you download is in .bin file you will be unable to unpack to update don't use I.E browser to download use google chrome to download the firmware

Crazy idea but try powering h without camera attached just to see what happens.

Have you rebinded the H to the ST16?

So two things I have noticed initially...

Was the battery percentage of the ST16 in the top right hand corner displayed on the last firmware?
Was the app 'FlightLogParser' in the list of apps in 'Pad' mode in the last firmware?
