Just got a new h after losing two q500's. I bought it best buy yesterday and I think it's old and although it's new the controller has two antennas besides the small round one and that changed on newer ones with only one.

Actually the newer version has the 3 external antennas. 2 whips and one mushroom and a patch in the accessories that can take the place of the mushroom.

Make sure you search and read how to use the patch before you change antennas.

Please read the attached manual thoroughly, before flying your new TH. It will save a lot of heartache.

There seems to be a lot of concerns about this issue. I wrote asking about the constantly blinking green light but it did one solid beep which one gentleman said it was charged and it is turning on so I hope the blinking is just a glitch but not serious as long as it is charging.

Do you ever get the red flashing light that shows it is charging? If not, give the battery a pretty good shove to fully seat it in the charging base. When new the contacts take a little more force to fully seat.

I gave it a good shove and had trouble pulling it out. God I sound like Dr ruth. It blinked flashing green the first time I put it in the charger. Could it possibly have already been charged.

Did it change to a solid green light on the charger? When the battery is in the TH what voltage do you see on the upper left of the ST-16 display?

The light never turned solid green but there was a single beep. It still flashed and never any red light. A few times it flashed blue but went immediately went back to flashing green. I'll check the voltage in a bit. Thanks

That will be charged good to fly!
Not all meters will read 16.4 volts, mine read 15.3 volts but in reality it was 16.4 volts.

The battery is not any where near charged. At full charge it will be at 16.8 VDC.

I just got out my OEM charger and if the battery does not fully seat it will flash green. Once I fully seat it it goes to flashing red indicating that the battery is charging.

The battery for the aircraft. The battery for the ST-16 just shows percentage and is on the upper right of the display.

Well I will keep charging the battery but don't think it will hit a solid green. Hope I'm wrong!

Does the craft have to have magnetic calibration To establish the SD card detection indoors? I'm sorry for not starting a new thread for this.

If you don’t get the red flashing light it is not charging. Mine flashes green without the battery in it. The following pictures show charger empty flashing green, battery in flashing green, and battery fully seated and charging flashing red. 0889F043-DE35-40E2-9697-26F9D5FC785F.jpeg20648FB0-12D4-4A0D-A961-730E7533C297.jpegAF25E9D9-883E-45CB-AB13-6ED83A712A41.jpeg

No, but the camera has to have the card in it and be bound to the controller.

No need for a new thread at this point. We are trying to work through the issues you have.

The following photos show how the card goes into the camera and with it fully seated. D1865118-2C33-46F8-9419-35624F9677C0.jpeg613D68F8-B780-4811-A3B5-3AF3DC16EED9.jpeg

There is a 64 in there and am going to put a 32 in there. Should i exchange the charger for a new one. All indications show they are connected except for the indication on the screen. When I got this far with the q500 I actually started it indoors without props of course and it did. Didn't with the h but we'll see. **** it's such a beautiful day here too.

Don't start it without props. You can download the GUI program from Yuneec's website and install it on your PC. You then use the USB cable that came with the system to connect to the PC and then test the motors without props there.

Do you have 1 or 2 batteries for the TH?
