On the st16 it shows the GPS position, is this the location of the ground station or the air craft? I have noticed the numbers don't change a lot when I'm flying, I'm working on a self sufficient rig that utilizes the HDMI out on the controller, trying to get a drone program with my local volunteer fire department

I'm pretty sure that this is the position of the copter. The numbers for lat/lon are not neccessarily much different altough the copter is moving.
Example:
- position at start: 48.03674, 10.04818
- position 250m away: 48.037296, 10.051403
