Hi. I've noticed a grey powder residue on the underside of the battery following flights on the Typhoon H. Had anyone else noticed the same?
Thanks

Not a particularly hi-tech solution this, but when I'm taking off, particularly if I think there may be a bit of dust kicked up, I use a large shopping bag flattened onto the ground surface. I always have shopping bags in the boot (trunk) of my car for when I go to the shops so I always have something to hand to take off from. Not greasy at all but yes as the weather is dry there is probably more dust than normal. I'm not intentionally taking off in dust but that makes sense. Thank you
Yep. I've had that on a number of occasions. When flying I always have a carrier bag (this is apart from the large shopping bag I mentioned earlier) which I carry things that aren't in the flight case...like reading glasses, an extra battery that won't fit in the case, mobile 'phone, etc. Now that's been weed on on more than one occasion. Once, after doing a commercial flight I'd taken my high-vis off and put it down next to the bag...then a dog came along and crapped on it
- If there are a lot of dog walkers where you fly, it may get wee'd on by passing dogs.
