Hi all,

I recently purchased a H920 kit complete with 2 ST24 controllers and a CGO4 camera system. I’m having a problem with camera control from the controller.

Here is my problem:

I am able to bind to the drone and the camera fine. I have the video feed on my controller. However, the video feed is extremely glitchy and cuts out half of the screen to green pixels for a few seconds.

The main problem is that I do not have any manual gimbal pitch or yaw control from the ST24, even with the switches in the correct positions. The gimbal does stabilize the camera as it should in flight, again I just can’t control the pitch or yaw from the controller.

Here is what I have tried so far:

•Restarted and rebound drone and camera multiple times with the same results.

•Checked gimbal / drone interface cable for broken or loose wires. Everything looks good.

•Updated ST24 firmware to the latest b95.

From my research it seems that there may be a camera mismatch? Also does anyone know how to update the H920 firmware? I have tried the Q500 and H GUIs with no luck. If anyone has any input or can share any info with me, I would greatly appreciate it. PFA.

Not much information is available regarding the ST24. You could create a new model and then bind to the new model. If that doesn't work then you can do a factory reset of the controller.
Do you know if the CGO4 worked previously? It's possible this camera was made for the H920+ rather than the H920.

Hi all, quick update and some more pictures for you all.

I bought my kit used, and I am starting to think that this CGO4 is actually meant for the h920+.

Here is what I see when I start my controller up, and what I see from the binding screen. I’ve heard some conflicting info, but does the original h920 have no fly zones built in? I’ve heard that the original version does not, but when I power on I get the “no fly zone”.

Anyways, here is what my binding screen looks like. The SR receiver for the drone and the CGO connection for the camera. My camera feed is ok but as soon as I move it, it becomes unusable.

I just tried out the CGO4 on the Proaction gimbal last night, and it works great! All controls work and I even got my phone connected through the app to see what was going on. I just think I got stuck with an original h920 and a camera meant for the h920+ unfortunately.

Try to scan for available SR units when the camera is attached to the ProAction grip. I can't support you with the pictures, because my only YP-4 battery was dried to zero due to resting it in the grip and now I have no time to wake up it. Ordered two from the US but delivery from there is very slow.

So, try to move the camera via ST24 when it is on the grip.

I was able to stop my camera delay and glitching by changing from NTSC to PAL. Thanks Martin
