A cracked windshield in an Airliner is still a bad thing.
It's just best for people to not fly around or in the path of moving commercial passenger craft. Yeah you get cool videos, but you're also being part of the problem. It's not like large aircraft can sneak up on you, so not being able to get out of the way in time is a weak excuse.
