Is it just me?

@Ty Pilot, I’m on Build 750
I only did it once and half sure of what I was doing, but it flew and it was smooth.
However I don’t don’t know how to selectively set the speed and negative on saving my mission, I kept pressing the save more than once and it would not let me.

I will be trying another mission, because I’m anxious to see the telemetry and also see if it can be altered, since it written in cvs file.

Speed should be set by the amount of left stick, @mbernholdt has confirmed this works for him. I can confirm that on the 480, after flying near to the start point, you would select 'Start' and the drone would fly to the first way point - ready to go. At this point a raise of the left stick would begin the flight - how high you raise it determines speed. I did a video showing the CCC in detail - again from the 480. It seems that for the most part it works the same on the Plus.

So, I flew 4 CCC missions just to determine, and all 4 missions flew without a hitch, just to prove what my flight this morning wasn’t a fluke. I’m new to Yuneec, and just now learned that the camera is dependent to each waypoint, and I also figured out how to save. Hit “save” due to excitement, I probably hit start this morning.

Just watched the TH 480 Video, I figured out how to control the camera. I’ll try it tomorrow.

CCC is, in my opinion better than Litchi.

Thought I would share the high wind CCC video from Friday night. it is straight out of the camera. Altitude is as I recall between 60 and 80 meters so as you can see it is pretty stable even in winds exceeding the limits of the drone.

Don't mind the jagged camera movements I was trying to figure out a way to control the camera from the sticks while flying the CCC.

I like how the right stick controls the camera with precision, now that this work, we just have to all wait for Yuneec or some other 3rd app party to create a mission hub to plot waypoint missions.

I do too with one exception; they got the stick movement backwards in the up/down configuration. Pulling back on the stick should raise the camera and pushing the stick forward should lower it. Or did they get this right on the Plus? I got used to it on the 480, just one of those things to nit pick.

That would be an easy thing to correct if the hardware was accessible. We could do it through the transmitter with a basic software reversing switch. I never bothered with CCC as I can’t stand the thought of wasting half a battery or more flying a mission in order to set waypoints. I’d rather build the mission using an imported map on the ground, fly it, then adjust waypoints as desired later, on the ground. Cheaper, faster, more efficient. FYI, the 920+ can do this using the same autopilot and firmware as the Typhoon H. It bothers me that Yuneec hamstrings their customers by preventing access to tool sets already present in the system.

Amen to that!

Not sure if it’s me, YouTube or something else, but I can’t seem to view the video. Keep getting a message that states it’s unavailable.

I've been asking for people to send me CCC files for a while now, to see if UAV Toolbox can usefully support map-based planning.

Should be fixet now [emoji2]

Hello gang, is it me? Or Yuneec did something extra awesome!!!!! Earlier today, I was back at work, after a grueling week of rending mapping materials and categorizing photographs.

In any rate, while out working today, I let my intern fly the H+ to do a simple inspection, and I was his VO, stationed 80 meters away from the launch pad.

During his 2nd flight, I noticed of how he got the H+ quickly up in the air, and ask if he was hot swapping and confirmed that he was (his a DJI flyer)

So, on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th fresh charged battery, I took over and hot swapped the battery. Sure enough, I was able to hot swap, without loosing controller and aircraft gps connectivity, and the H+ did not exhibited any problems that I’ve had before, during a hot swap.

During my battery hot swap, I waited for 60 sec. just to confirm that everything is okay and on my 2nd and 3rd swap, I just powered up and flew.

After our job was done, we tried out the “Journey” mode. It was scary!! The controller rebooted for a good 4 seconds and went back to the flight screen. We didn’t have time in duplicate the problem, because we ran out of batteries, but nevertheless, hot swapping batteries seems like a GO! with the H+ and I’m really satisfied, with that. And I’m confused of why Yuneec included a Journey mode, this mode is useless.
