Max range

Hello everyone.

Can someone please tell me how I can maximize my range above 120 meters?

I must be doing something wrong but it won’t accept the settings.

If in Smart mode set your Geo Fencing to the max of 2500 Meters in the GUI
GEO-FENCE
The geo-fence is a virtual barrier that will keep Typhoon H from traveling farther
than 300 feet (91 meters). The geo-fence only works in Smart Mode. Although
this limit can be adjusted using the USB interface/programmer and software we
strongly recommend using the default limit at all times.
If in Angle Mode it is limited by height and obstacles (IE Buildings Trees Ect)

If it is the height (altitude) do the same in the GUI for Height Limit

In both modes I tried it and they have the same results.

In Angle mode the only thing that will limit your range is your control signal to the aircraft. Oh, and that tree you've just crashed into. As mentioned above, Smart mode does impose distance limitations (300 feet) which can be altered using the GUI.

The default height restriction is 120m which can be altered (as previously mentioned) again using the GUI...UNLESS you are using the firmware version that was released in November 2016 (I'm not sure about earlier versions) where it was impossible to alter the height limit to above 120m (I forget which number firmware it was off the top of my head but I do know it was made available in November 2016). A later firmware released in March 2017 put that right.
