i just got a new H pro and there is a patch antenna in the box but nothing about were it goes on the system
can some one help me out
says 5.8G patch antenna on the sticker and that for best performance make sure it is pointed at the aircraft
so from this i thing it attaches to the st16 controller

On the ST-16 there is a mushroom shaped antenna in the middle... swap out that for the flat patch antenna. The mushroom antenna is not as directional, but the flat patch when oriented correctly, has greater range.

So the round unit on the top that came installed is a real antenna, and it can be used, it was so light, and it felt like it had nothing in it.

I have had the drone for a week and as of yet not flown it just want to make sure I understand all of it first so doing lots of reading
this forum is one of the best things I have seen for answers to question I did not know I should ask.
