PART 107 Question

Hi Folks,

I'm going to study for the part 107. For the folks who have the license already. I saw one video saying every two years it expires and the person to renew needs to take the same exam? This correct?

Every two years you take the exam, same price but for now only 40 questions.
1st time around 60 questions.
You're license doesn't expire, it's the ability to continue using the 107 certification, that's what you are renewing.

I am currently studying to take my currency test and it's focus is different than the original exam, there is more of a focus on airspace. My guess is; as the UAV industry is brought into the NAS, the currency tests will evolve along with this integration.

There is a sub forum here now for sUAS Rules and Regulations you may want to look at, this is a new area but as time passes there will be a lot of good information and news there.
