ST16 Gimbal Issues

Well after less than 2 hrs of use both my Aileron and Yaw gimbals are acting up,

Very slow reaction to the stick shown in hardware monitor and bad centring,

Done a calibration and not playing ball on the aileron channel as it very reluctantly goes green,

Awaiting the guys at the UK service department to get back in touch with me to get the issue resolved,

Did you clean them?

ST16 left and right Joysticks are responding slow when moving them up and down directions

Still under warrantee so not touching it, anyway a transmitter of this cost the gimbals should not require cleaning every 2 hrs of use, even when its been in its box for most of its life so far.

It won't.
Nevertheless an update of the system will not harm. Check your firmware, install the GUI and check your systen. After updating check your system again.


Do compass calibration, shut off the H.
Start up again and preform gimball calibration and shut off the H.
Do start up again and wait a minute or 12 to allow calibrate GPS.

The ST16 is now on route to Yuneec UK for replacement gimbals, after they diagnosed over the phone that the pots are not good on 2 channels,

kudos to them for sorting it with such little fuss.
