ST16E no WiFi / no OFDM after firmware install – need help

Great news! The autopilot is now up to date, and my first test flights with the drone were a success.
Excellent. Are you getting the same issue with the camera where it won’t pan forward when pan is in top position on st16E. Also are you getting arms one and six blinking green constantly now with the autopilot updated. I think the autopilot on the newest version gives this and also a no fly zone status no unlock message + a enter flyer id message

Yes, when the pan is in the top position, nothing happens. However, I managed to lock the camera manually in the correct position.

Yes that’s pretty much all I noticed wrong with it. It would be nice if pan forward worked as when ur flying at a distance and you hit the pan forward switch you can judge the hex orientation so u know which direction ur flying. The only risk with opening it is you could risk breaking the camera completely as they are so delicate. Maybe someone knows how it could be calibrated. Hopefully it’s something software related . At least now ur able to fly with video feed 🤗

A few months ago, I already repaired the E90 on my H520 after a crash. The components inside are very fragile.

It’s a bit different in this model. No slip ring, also there is 30 wires on the x connector. There is also a very tiny ball bearing when u remove the locking collar, it could get lost very easily. U can hear the ball bearing is u shake the camera

If it’s a hardware issue I can confirm it’s not the wire from the ofdm module to the camera as this is the 3rd h520e the camera was fitted to with the fault remaining. It’s also not the x connector itself on the camera as I tried replacing it with one from a known good e90x. It could be the wire inside the camera. It has 30 wires connected to the x connector, the 30 wires branches off inside the camera to the 2 boards inside. With certain wires going to each board. There is a picture here on the form of the x connector and what each pin does , it might be worth looking at if ur good with that kind of thing. I still think it’s down to calibration
