ST24 Firmware upgrade from B85 to B94 issue

Hello,

I am trying to upgrade an ST24 from build number st24v01.01b85 to st24v01.01b94.

Had some issues with the original firmware downloaded from this forum.

After the upgrade command:

First I got the error - Unpacking Failed!

It seems that a file name is used twice in the update.zip - URSAMINOR.ogg and UrsaMinor.ogg.

Fixed this by extracting and zipping the update.zip again.

Now I get the message - Unpacking Success!

But get a new error - Folder name wrong!

Does anyone know how to fix this - Folder name wrong! - error?

At this point your situation is concerning. There is something wrong. A bad update file? A defect in the controller firmware or hardware? A simple bad SD card? Human error? An unknown?
This is similar to playing "Russian Roulette", and you have already pulled the trigger twice. Assuming the controller is still functional, it may be a good time to step back and reconsider how badly you need the upgrade.
If you really need to upgrade, it would be a good idea to wait until folks familiar with ST24 and the firmware updates have a chance to offer help.

Can you provide a link to the exact copy of the firmware you downloaded?

The term "original" causes some difficulty in understanding your situation:

Do you mean the controller's original (never been updated) firmware has issues?

Do you mean you downloaded your currently installed firmware at some point in the past from the forum and it has issues?

Are you actually referring to the new firmware you downloaded?

This is the link to the firmware I used:

ST24 V94 firmware

ST24, V94, firmware, H920

I ordered and received ST24 along with the H920 with the CGO4 from Yuneec Europe (in 2020).

At the reception I discovered that the ST24 was not suitable for the CGO4 and Yuneec sent me a new one.

So this (now) spare unit can only work with the camera options as shown in the attached image.

For me it is more useful to upgrade this ST24 from FW B85 to FW B94 (similar FW to the one I later received from Yuneec as a replacement and suitable for the CGO4).
