Most of the better ones can detect freefall and deploy themselves.
Our Solutions - ParaZero is one of them. You might find a solution with them.
I see no reference to a parachute on your link but I might be looking in the wrong place.

The parachute then seems ideal for your video flying.
It too am generally in the country but with lots of trees and the parachute might be problematic for where I fly.

I had contacted parazero regarding the H parachute and here was their reply I have asked the question if they will be making this to fit the H so will update once I get a reply

Based on the fact that our system is able to stop the propellers to make sure of safe and effective deployment - we tailor our systems for the platform. We don't currently have a system for that Yuneec drone.
Do you have any other drones?

I find that a pretty stupid answer to your question.
They tailor make to any platform as long it is DJI I suppose.
Yea I know so it just goes to show they don't seem to want to increase their options to other manufacturers

- DJI has 70% of the consumer drone market.
- DJI has released an SDK
I really like my T H but... it’s not easy to develop solutions for it such as a parachute that requires the ability to stop the props.

I don’t know that you would want a button deployed parachute. It would be totally dependent on the reaction time of the operator, their ability to recognize when a problem and need was imminent, and their “eyes on” vigilance with the aircraft. The time-distance-velocity equation is critical for the effective deployment of a parachute recovery system.
Creating a fused link that interrupted the primary power supply during parachute deployment would be pretty simple to do. For the Chroma, Q, H, and 920 models it would require accessing and modifying the power distribution input.
There is also the issue of the weight and mass balance of a parachute system. When you add weight you decrease flight time and increase current load on a system that may not be capable of providing more current. The mass location and moment of such a system could significantly impact PID tuning of the auto pilot, impacting aircraft stabilization in normal flight.

Like rdonson has said you need the SDK for the TH and the RC needs extra channels to program and manual deployment.
